As an RA, it is my responsibility to balance befriending each of my residents personally with ensuring their collective safety and comfort on our floor. I also spend much of my time facilitating conflict resolution, providing my residents with educational and social opportunities and resources, and keeping them up to date on ResLife policies and campus events.

As a Park Productions Employee, I work in a team with my co-workers to shoot projects and promote Park Productions. I spend much of my time learning through hands-on filming experiences. This semester I have had the opportunity to work on the set of a feature film that was filmed in The Studio.

As a Director for Science 101 some of the things I am in charge of include the aesthetic, blocking, pacing, and general feel of the show. As such it is critically important that I am communicative from pre-production to post-production with many individuals and departments. I also must be prepared for each scene and be ready to improvise as needed.

As an actor for Theater Lab, I have many other people who rely on me to know my lines and to be a reliable member of our cast (meaning showing up on time, showing up prepared, showing up with a positive attitude, and showing up ready to give 110% every rehearsal).

This semester I have been co-leading the Communication Subcommittee for the Ithaca College JED Foundation Campus Coalition. Co-leading the Communication Subcommittee for the JED Foundation has allowed me to continue my work in destigmatizing mental health disorders as well as spreading awareness about the resources available to students right here at Ithaca College.

In Time Management for Better Leadership, I learned skills for better time management such as prioritizing tasks, avoiding distractions, utilizing tools such as google calendar, and taking breaks.

In Managing Stress, I learned that while stress can be a good motivator, it is important to take care of yourself. In the SLI we discussed individual plans to manage our stress going forward.
Sleep Hygiene (Leading Self)

In Sleep Hygiene, I learned about ways to improve my sleeping habits such as waking up at the same time each day, the importance of creating a sleep schedule, and tips for better sleep in general.
